Welcome to Diuna

Welcome to Diuna – a unique place that has transformed the landscape of Służewiec. Formerly home to one of many similar office complexes, it was a vast concrete desert, a product of its time and location. The entire site has undergone a major sustainability-focused renovation, which included the internal common spaces of the four office buildings and the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, significantly reducing the energy consumption of the entire complex. The most significant transformation, however, has been to the exterior of Diuna. Here, a 6,000-square-metre park has been created in place of a paved parking lot, complete with hills, water features, trees, greenery, a flower meadow, and places to rest. It’s a place where everyone can breathe and lose 

themselves in nature. Take a moment to look at the trees surrounding you here and just imagine that each of them mirrors what lies beneath the surface of the patio. The foundation slab of the underground garage was originally designed to withstand temporary loads of parked cars. Now trees are planted in special layouts, precisely where the underground garage columns are located and the hills main body are formed from a recycled and lightweight material. Now, the patio is a space open to the city and its residents, meeting the needs of the local community. It’s a place for work, as well as for meeting people and spending leisure time.
