Bird-friendly space
It’s not only the comfort of people, but also that of our smaller friends, including birds, that is important in Diuna. We’ve taken special care to ensure their ease and safety within the park. By careful planting interspersed with dense thickets, tall shrubs like wild rose, lilac, arborvitae, along with hedges of dogwood, currant, and spindle tree, we’ve created secure habitats for our winged companions. The luxuriant crowns of field maples and hornbeams, along with hedgerows, offer safe nesting sites for our avian guests. Throughout spring and summer, the park teems with insects and an array of summer flowers and the fruits of lilac, kalina, mulberry, and Virginia creeper, providing a rich food source for our feathered friends. To sustain them through winter, the fruit of rowan trees and paradise apple remain on the trees, entice waxwing, thrushes, blackbirds, and fieldfare to feed.
