Spaces at Diuna for UNICEF Poland and WIOSNA Association

Syrena Real Estate, managing Diuna office complex in Warsaw’s Służewiec district, has made spaces available free of charge for statutory activities of UNICEF Poland and the WIOSNA Association. Both organisations have launched their activities and are running initiatives.

UNICEF has been active in Poland since 1962, focusing on improving the living conditions of children. Since 2002, the organisation’s mission includes representing the interests of children, defending and promoting their rights, and raising funds for aid projects run by UNICEF worldwide. The organisation has allocated 80 sq. m of space provided in the Diuna complex to its fundraiser team. This is more than an office of UNICEF’s Warsaw team: it is also a place for meetings, training, and recruiting new staff from all over Poland. UNICEF Poland’s presence in the complex was made possible by Syrena Real Estate’s cooperation with the Lepszy Służewiec association, which has been active in the district for nearly 8 years, supporting office workers, tenants, and property owners and managers, as well as Służewiec residents.

The WIOSNA Association is one of the largest NGOs in Poland, known among others for its nationwide project “Noble Gift”. The Association will use the space in Building B of the Diuna complex for its Future Academy programme, an initiative which supports children and young people in developing their interests and improving their self-esteem and confidence. As part of the Academy programme, volunteers will receive training in Diuna’s meeting rooms at weekends, preparing them for their roles.

It is a great pleasure for us to support the activities of such reputable organisations as UNICEF Poland and the WIOSNA Association. Diuna is the perfect place for such activities. The modernisation of the complex that we have completed was aimed at adding new functions to the project beyond office infrastructure and at opening it up to different groups. We are proud that Diuna’s spaces serve initiatives which bring real value to communities and change people’s lives for the better, said Witold Zatoński, founder of Syrena Real Estate.
